2020 has been the year from hell in so many ways, so much sickness, death and all around loss. Glad to embark on 2021 with a fresh start and hope for the future. Starting the year by decluttering all my Christmas ornaments and decorations. I have moved these boxes more times than I should have. I love Christmas and I have collected santas and nutcrackers and.. and.. Before I knew it I had a mass supply of -“stuff” and who needs this much?! Do you have a problem decluttering? Here are a few things to think about:

QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF TO HELP YOU DECLUTTER

Sometimes we simply don’t know what to keep and what to throw away or give away. To help you decide, here are some questions I ask my clients and you can ask yourself whenever you are in doubt.

  1. Have I used this item in the last 6 months?
  2. Do I really need this item?
  3. Can the item easily be replaced should I need it later?
  4. Will keeping this item make my life happier, more convenient, or healthier?
  5. Do I have a specific place for this item?

If you Need help organizing your space, give me a shout. I have been designing/organizing for years and I find such pleasure helping my clients rediscover space in their homes. Here’s to the New Year and a more organized space! Cheers!
